The Archangel Gabriel is depicted in a full-length. His figure is youthful and radiant. He is also filled with grace and purity. With his right hand he blesses the believers, forming with his fingers the monogram of Christ’s name. In his left hand he holds a staff, symbolizing his authority as an archangel and his heavenly mission. His garments are colored in vivid shades of purple and pink, adorned with golden details and ornamental motifs. His wings rise powerfully behind him, while a halo encircles his face, symbolizing holiness and Divine Grace.
