Sterling Silver Locket | Mother of God

The front side of the locket bears the image of the Mother of God holding the Divine Son. The icon on the reverse side depicts the Holy Cross adorned with the Instruments of the Passion (Arma Christi, or The "Weapons of Christ"), namely the spear and the sponge.

The locket opens and can also serve as a small reliquary for storing particles of holy relics, incense, and other small sacred items.
