A metal box with three compartments for storing pills, incense or any other small items. The lid has an image of the Jesus Christ Pantokratoros.
One of the icons of Jesus Christ Pantokratoros is kept in the Protaton church of Karyes on Mount Athos. This miraculous icon of Jesus Christ Pantocrator (Almighty) is called "The Responding One" because a voice coming from it was heard, speaking to the serving priest.
One day an elderly monk of a skete in Karyes asked the hieromonk to end the service on Holy Thursday a little early so that he could have time to receive communion, as he could not endure fasting and not eat until the ninth hour (about 3 o'clock in the afternoon), as required by the Typicon. The hieromonk began the service, but he did not want to violate the statutes and quicken the pace of the service. When he leisurely approached the icon of the Almighty, a voice was heard coming from it, "Hurry up, as the elder told you."
After this miraculous event, the icon was transferred to the temple of Protaton and placed in the altar area, to the right of the carved wooden proskynetarion of the icon of Axion Estin.
