Carved Wooden Neck Cross

This handmade carved wooden neck cross is crafted from boxwood by the monks of Mount Athos.

The front side of the cross depicts the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is adorned with the Instruments of the Passion (Arma Christi, or "The Weapons of Christ"), namely the spear and the sponge.

Inscriptions on the front side: ΙΣ ΧΣ (Jesus Christ), СНЪ БЖIЙ (Son of God), ЦРЬ СЛВЫ (King of Glory)

Inscription on the back of the cross: ΑΓΙΟΝ ΟΡΟΣ

The cross is available with either a simple cord or a beaded one.
