Carved Wooden Neck Cross

This handmade carved wooden neck cross is crafted from boxwood by the monks of Mount Athos.

The front side of the cross depicts the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ, framed with carved ornaments.

Inscriptions on the front side: ΙΣ ΧΣ (Jesus Christ), ΙΝΒΙ ("Ἰησοῦς ὁ Ναζωραῖος ὁ Βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων", translates as "Jesus, King of the Jews")

Inscription on the back of the cross: ΑΓΙΟΝ ΟΡΟΣ

The cross is available with either a simple cord or a beaded one.
