Archangel Michael is the chief angel, the head of the holy host of Angels and Archangels. The literal translation of his name, which is "Who is like God?", suggests a questioning intonation. Thus, the name "Michael" means "no one is equal to God".

Archangel Gabriel is the bearer of the divine will. He appears youthful, with a serene and gentle expression.
